How to read it

  • The end of the Introduction ("The current study") lists the four themes and the hypotheses.
  • In Methods, note why test anxiety and general anxiety were measured, and how the questionnaire was built.
  • Table 3 compares plain correlations with correlations after controlling for general and test anxiety.
  • Read "Limitations and future directions" closely: it explains what the correlational design cannot show.
